7th Annual Stanford Skills Symposium

The 7th Annual Stanford Bedside Teaching Symposium is an annual event which brings together medical educators from around the world to foster clinical teaching skills. The Stanford team aims to build a sense of community among all those who attend and to increase both individual physical examination skills as well as the ability of those in attendance to teach and evaluate the clinical skills of their learners. They accomplish this with lectures by expert clinicians, live demonstrations and hands on workshops using both real and standardized patients. The content is aimed at early and mid-career physician educators but would also be appropriate for chief residents and senior residents looking for a career in medical education.

The Society of Bedside Medicine will host its annual meeting and poster session as part of the symposium as well!
